Company Will Demonstrate New Innovations That Enable Merchant Services Providers to Expand Offerings and Increase Revenue
Scottsdale, AZ, July 9, 2013—Apriva, the leading provider of end-to-end wireless transactions, gateway services, and secure information solutions, announced that it will showcase its new mobile commerce technologies at the MidWest Acquirers Association (MWAA) 2013 Annual Conference, scheduled for July 17-18 at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile Hotel in Chicago. Highlighting Apriva’s participation will be demonstrations of its new Universal Application, which allows merchant services providers to deliver compliance and feature updates to disparate terminal families simultaneously. Apriva will be located at booth GS15 throughout the exhibition.
Introduced earlier this year, Apriva’s Universal Application is an innovative new solution that significantly improves the process of delivering compliance and feature updates to point-of-sale terminals. The application has a common interface and functionality across multiple terminal families and communications technologies, greatly simplifying what was once an expensive and cumbersome process. Through small push updates delivered at settlement time, merchant services providers can update combinations of dial, wireless and IP terminals in less than five minutes, compared to current methods which may take as much as 40 minutes for dial terminals. Merchants can receive updates without taking their terminals offline, mitigating any disruption to their business.
