The event is scheduled for August 26-29 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. Ms. Heit’s panel, “Consumer Focused M2M Solutions,” will take place on August 27, at 12:45 pm. Collocated with Technology Market Corporation’s (TMC) ITEXPO conference and exhibition, M2M Evolution is the nation’s largest event dedicated to M2M technology.

“The Machine-to-Machine sector is certainly one of the fastest growing segments in retail, and without a doubt, the ability to accept payment through these devices is a critical component for many merchants,” said Stacey Finley Tappin, Apriva’s vice president for sales and marketing. “M2M Evolution gives us an opportunity to share our experiences and vision with various participants in the M2M ecosystem, as well as a chance to learn about new offerings that are expected to serve this exploding market.”

In her session, Ms. Heit will discuss how payments integrate with M2M technology in a consumer-centric environment. Among the topics that will be covered are payment presentation methods, security and data privacy, and integration with mobile marketing, analytics, and other services.
