Apriva to Speak at NACAS Annual Conference

Paul DeRosse to Moderate Panel on Cultivating the Future of Campus Payments
 
Scottsdale, Ariz. October 28, 2015 — Apriva, the leading provider of secure end-to-end wireless transaction and information solutions, today announced that they will be sponsoring the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS) Annual Conference. Also at the event Paul DeRosse, the company’s vice president of business development in Canada, will be moderating a panel session on the future of campus payments. Apriva team members will also be participating in the event, staffing the company booth and answering any questions from visitors about Apriva Campus Solutions.
 
NACAS was founded in 1969 and is the largest auxiliary services support organization serving higher education. The annual NACAS conference provides extensive opportunities for members to share ideas, develop business solutions, enhance programs and revenues, and develop meaningful professional relationships.

WHAT: Paul DeRosse will moderate a panel discussion titled “Cultivating the Cashless Future of Campus Payments: Card Services,” during the NACAS Annual Conference. The session will feature Matt Suwalski, Assistant Director for Business and Retail Services, University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, and Susan Chaffee, Director of Product Management, Cashless Systems, the CBORD Group, Inc. The panel will discuss how the University of Washington, Oshkosh worked with CBORD and Apriva to enable the acceptance of credit, debit and campus cards on their vending machines, which led to an increase in the university’s overall vending sales across all payment methods. Attendees of this session will learn the benefits of accepting new payment forms, including digital currencies.
 
WHEN: The NACAS Annual Conference will take place from Sunday, November 1 to Wednesday, November 4, 2015. Paul DeRosse’s panel session will be held on Monday, November 2 from 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. CT. 
 
Apriva’s booth will be open during exhibit hall hours from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 1; from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 2; and from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3.
