Apriva to Preview New Features at NAMA OneShow

New Vending Machine Alarms and Reporting Functionalities Highlight Apriva’s Participation in the Vending Industry’s Leading Event

Scottsdale, AZ  April 20, 2011—Apriva, the leading provider of end-to-end wireless transactions and secure information solutions, today announced  that it will showcase several new operating and reporting features at the upcoming National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA) OneShow event, scheduled for April 27-29 at Chicago’s McCormick Place.  The OneShow is considered the industry’s premier annual event for the vending and coffee service industries. Apriva will be exhibiting at booth 856 throughout the exposition.

Highly regarded for its Apriva Vend end-to-end cashless payment solution, Apriva will preview two of its latest Apriva Vend features at The OneShow. A new “Vending Machine Alarms” tool provides operators with real-time notifications regarding machine-related malfunctions or performance issues, and allows operators to constantly and remotely monitor machines to ensure maximum uptime and uninterrupted revenue.   Apriva’s dynamic “Reporting” feature expands the robust set of detailed financial reports that operators can run on vending machines deployed throughout the network. Each of these new functionalities will be included in Apriva Vend, and will be offered to operators at no additional charge.

“The latest Apriva Vend features have been designed to give operators up-to-the-minute information regarding the operational and financial performance of their assets in the field,” explained Stacey Finley Tappin, vice president of sales for Apriva. “The OneShow gives us the opportunity to share our new enhancements directly with the operators who attend the show. We expect vendor operators will embrace the new technologies and appreciate the fact that these new tools are bundled into every Apriva Vend solution at no additional cost.”

Introduced in 2010, Apriva Vend is an end-to-end cashless vending solution that enables operators to accept card-based payments at vending machines. Apriva Vend incorporates all aspects of a cashless vending solution, including hardware, software, payment processing, cellular carrier services and reporting. Apriva Vend provides vending operators expedited access to their cashless funds, 24/7 customer support, leading-edge, flexible hardware that meets the most stringent security and privacy mandates, and numerous other benefits. Additionally, Apriva Vend supports the NAMA Cashless Solution program, which offers NAMA members competitive payment processing rates for cashless vending.

Apriva will kick off its participation at The OneShow when vice president Stacey Finley Tappin presents a case study on a successful cashless deployment during the panel discussion, “Innovations in Vending Technology and Benefits of Cashless.” That session is scheduled for Tuesday, April 26th at 9 am.
