Apriva To Host Cashless Coach Town Hall Event at ACE October 16

Informative Session is Designed to Give Vending Operators Practical Information Regarding Cashless Vending Technologies and Practices

Scottsdale, AZ  October 11, 2010—Apriva, the leading provider of end-to-end wireless transactions and secure information solutions, announced that it will host a Town Hall meeting on cashless vending at the Atlantic Coast Exhibition (ACE) in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Delivered as part of its Apriva Vend Cashless Coach educational initiative, the program will feature presentations from both Apriva and MEI. It is scheduled for Saturday, October 16th from 3-4 pm in the Hampton Room at the Embassy Suites Hotel at Kingston Plantation, site of ACE. The Town Hall meeting is open to all vending operators, and is free of charge.

“We speak with many operators on a daily basis who express a sincere interest in cashless vending, but are unfamiliar with the processes, technologies or the privacy and security requirements,” said Bill Clark, executive vice president and general manager for Apriva’s Point of Sale division. “Our Town Hall meetings are structured to give vending operators an unbiased, informative and useful perspective on the various facets of cashless vending, and help guide them to making the correct determination of whether cashless is a viable option for their business.”

During the Town Hall meeting at ACE, Apriva will explain a number of elements behind cashless vending, including choosing appropriate vending machine locations and how vending operators can manage their day to day operations more effectively with vending machine alarms. MEI’s presentation will discuss hardware requirements and integration with various back office reporting tools.

An end-to-end solution, Apriva Vend gives operators the ability to cost-effectively integrate cashless vending into their operations. Apriva Vend’s comprehensive services incorporate system hardware and software, wireless connectivity, transaction and alarm reporting capabilities, and integration with leading payment processors and financial institutions. Apriva Vend also allows vending operators access to the highly successful “Cashless Coach” program, which provides ongoing guidance and support to ensure peak performance.  For more information, visit www.AprivaVend.com.
