Leading Provider of Wireless Transactions Handled Over $5 Billion in 2011 YTD, Up 27 Percent Over 2010 Figures
Scottsdale, AZ November 8, 2011—Apriva, the leading provider of end-to-end wireless transactions and secure information solutions, announced that its point-of-sale (POS) gateway processed transactions in excess of $1.85 billion during the third quarter of 2011, surpassing the record of $1.76 billion it set in the previous quarter, and representing a 25 percent gain over the third quarter of 2010. Considered among the market leaders for wireless payments providers in North America, Apriva said that its gateway handled approximately $5.14 billion in transactions during the first three quarters of 2011, signifying an increase of 27 percent compared to the same period in 2010.
