VX680 and VX520 Terminals Enable Apriva Customers to Combine Next-Generation EMV Technology With The Industry’s Most Pervasive Network of Payment Processors and Connectivity Options
Scottsdale, AZ September 26, 2012—Apriva, the leading provider of end-to-end wireless transactions, gateway services, and secure information solutions, announced that it has certified VeriFone’s new VX Evolution line of terminals for payment processing through the Apriva gateway. As a result, the EMV-ready VX680 and VX520 are immediately available to the company’s network of over 850 merchant acquirers that are connected through the Apriva gateway to its network of more than 30 certified payment processors.
As part of the product rollout, Apriva embedded its highly-regarded proprietary security protocol, AprivaTalk™, in both terminals to maintain superior security for all transactions that pass through the Apriva gateway. AprivaTalk™ security—combined with the terminals’ PCI PTS version 3 certification—gives merchants and merchant acquirers confidence that transactions are secure and compliant with the latest security and privacy standards.
