Apriva Appoints Stacey Finley Tappin as Vice President of Sales of the Point of Sale (POS) Division for North America

Scottsdale, AZ March 23, 2010—Apriva, the leading provider of end-to-end wireless transactions and secure information solutions, today announced that Stacey Finely Tappin has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Sales of the Point of Sale (POS) division for North America. In her new role, Tappin will preside over the organization’s sales operations, focusing on the expansion of wireless payment technology products and services, maximizing growth opportunities from both new and existing customers, and developing new channels of business revenue.

A seasoned professional in the payment industry, Tappin brings more than 20 years of broad experience in sales management, strategic planning, global training and leadership program development to Apriva. Prior to joining Apriva, Tappin was responsible for generating new business and selling new products and services into the existing client base for TSYS Acquiring Solutions as their vice president of sales. During this tenure, she continuously exceeded sales goals and was recognized for her ability to close multi-million dollars deals and form strong relationships with key decision makers. Earlier in her career, Tappin worked at other financial service organizations, including twelve years spent at MasterCard International. Additionally, Tappin is involved in several industry organizations, and is an active member of the ETA (Electronic Transactions Associations) Membership Committee.
