Christopher Spinella

Chief Executive Officer

For more than 28 years, Chris Spinella has built management experience in the healthcare and technology industries. Chris co-founded Smart Technologies, Inc. in 1996. In 1999, he merged that company into Apriva to continue the development and advancement of smart card technology and wireless applications. Chris was also a Co-Founder of NetSearch, LLC, a wireless application company acquired by Aether Systems in April 2000. Likewise, he co-founded and served as CEO and chairman at Zanova, Inc., a B2B e-commerce company acquired by Onvia in July 2000. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Arizona State University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School. 

Paul Coppinger

President, Apriva POS

Paul has more than 20 years of management experience and has pioneered the development and delivery of sophisticated software applications in more than 30 different industry sectors. His areas of expertise include e-commerce, wireless communications, encryption/security and voice-over-Internet. Paul was also a Co-founder of Zanova, Inc., a B2B e-commerce company acquired by Onvia in July 2000. Likewise, he was a Co-Founder of NetSearch, LLC, a wireless application company acquired by Aether Systems in April 2000. Paul earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Arizona State University.

Mike Klingen

Chief Architect

Mike is responsible for reviewing and improving existing systems by making use of new technologies and methodologies. Mike has more than 24 years experience in developing sophisticated software packages. In 1990, Mike co-founded APPS Software and has applied his expertise in the design and development of software applications in more than 30 different industry sectors including e-commerce, wireless communications, encryption/security and voice-over-Internet. Mike was a Co-Founder of NetSearch, LLC, a wireless application company acquired by Aether Systems in April 2000. Mike was also a Co-Founder of Zanova, Inc., a B2B e-commerce company acquired by Onvia in July 2000. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Arizona State University. 

Jeff Ford

President, Apriva ISS

Jeff is responsible for the strategic and operational management of Apriva’s Information Security Systems (ISS) division. Jeff is a recognized leader in the business communications industry with more than 26 years of experience in voice, video and data communications systems and applications. Prior to joining Apriva, Jeff served as president of Inter-Tel’s global wholesale division where he played a pivotal role in the company’s early entry into VoIP in the late 1990s. He also obtained an early VoIP technology patent. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Arizona State University and a Stanford Executive certificate from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. 

David Riddiford

Chief Financial Officer

David is a Certified Public Accountant with 23 years of experience in finance, accounting and business at publicly traded corporations. Prior to joining Apriva, David served as Chief Financial Officer for Action Performance Companies, a public company with $350 million in sales. David also served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer at the Dial Corporation, a public company with $1.3 billion in sales. David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Accounting from Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. 

Lisa Raggiri

Executive Vice President of Business Solutions and GC

Lisa provides strategic business and legal advice for the company’s executive management team and board of directors on an array of business, legal and regulatory issues. Prior to joining Apriva, Lisa served as VP of Corporate Development General Counsel for Bone Care International, Inc. Lisa earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law and shall be receiving a MBA with a specialization in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business in 2012.

Karen Coover

Vice President of Human Resources

Karen is responsible for implementing best in class human resources practices in all areas of the company. She develops strategies for staffing and workforce planning, and partners with the company’s executive staff on organizational development and change management issues. Karen has nearly 20 years of international experience in companies ranging from small technology firms to those on the Fortune 100. Prior to joining Apriva, Karen worked for Honeywell Corporation as a Vice President of HR in the aerospace business group. She also served as an HR leader at Microsoft Corp. Karen holds a Masters of Business Administration degree, and a Global HR Certification from Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Candee Ferris

Vice President of Operations

Candee has more than 30 years experience in enterprise operations management and is responsible for managing Apriva's day to day operations, including cross departmental/enterprise policies, objectives and initiatives. She directs a team of production support specialists to ensure that Apriva's processes run smoothly. Candee previously held executive management positions with Avnet, Pinacor/MicroAge and Supermarkets General Corporation/Pathmark. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from The University of Phoenix.
