Apriva Receives MasterCard Payment Terminal Security Program Certification for Wireless and IP-Enabled Terminals

SCOTTSDALE, AZ, December 20, 2006 -- Apriva, the leader in Wireless solutions for the electronic payments industry, announced today that MasterCard Worldwide has certified the Apriva Secure POS Suite running on the Verifone NURIT® family of wireless and IP-enabled terminals to be compliant under its Payment Terminal Security Program (PTSP). Apriva is the first vendor certified under MasterCard PTSP to offer a complete, end-to-end solution that secures transaction data from the terminal through to the processor.
